Austin Clark
Senior, Bowling
Austin participated in three matches last week rolling a team leading average of 211.6 in those five games. He also contributed the Firebirds high series in the match against Middletown (455) and the high single game (235) in the West match versus Seven Hills.
Amara Flores
Sophomore, Girls Basketball
Amara made the first basket six seconds into overtime and sank two of two pressure packed free throws with eight seconds remaining to clinch the West win (58-54) at Oak Hills on Wednesday. This was a critical win enabling the Firebirds to ultimately clinch this years outright Greater Miami Conference Championship. Flores played in all 22 regular season varsity games this year and was in the starting line-up for 21 of them.
